   Maybe I'm just a traditionalist in terms of service, you know, sit down, someone comes along to take a drinks order after a few minutes, drinks arrive, orders taken etc, but it's not the case now it seems. You need to summon someone. Waitress unfamiliar with drinks menu. - cider was an unknown thing, but then it was spotted among the sparkling wine list? Starters arrived except mine. Waited patiently. Others had finished when it finally turned up. All other plates were cleared. Less than a minute later, mains started arriving and guess whose was first? Yes mine - they were trying to put it down on top of my starter. I sent it away and others carried on with their mains while I had my starter. I think everyone at the table should finish before plates are cleared away, but again, perhaos that's old school. No one ever came back to the table and asked if more drinks were wanted, or to ask if everything is ok. Even when we paid, nothing was asked about the meals. We hade similar non-service at another local place recently. Maybe we are just going to the wrong places or perhaps I need to re-think my expectations of service. Food is always good here.

   Went for dinner here. Food was average. Still quite nice but nothing spectacular. Got the Japanese dinner Bento. Forgot to take photo of sushi and sashimi but was okay quality. Nothing special. Service was good however some confusion with ordering. Atmosphere is nice as it's quite a small niche venue.

   This was our first visit and we were blown away by the amazing food! Loved Udon here. The staffs including chefs were extremely friendly and we felt very welcomed. I cannot wait to go back and try Udon again! Highly recommend :)

   Beautiful atmosphere and fresh sashimi. Tempura was not the best choice though. Loved the service. Will recommend. Ordered- medium sashmi/salmon nuta Chicken Teriyaki was very disappointing- it is not what I have expected. Plain chicken roast taste. Very light and little teriyaki sauce.

   We love this spot! Very fresh, clean and delicious flavours. The menu is extensive and offers a bit of everything in terms of variety and price. Haven’t had a bad dish here so far. The team are very friendly and warm. The interior is full of Japanese theme with a homely feel. Yaruki for life!

   Yaruki has been my favourite Japanese restaurant for over a decade. Was taken here by my parents as a kid and love to come back to experience the nostalgia and wonderful team, including Yoshi. Meals are affordable and service is SUPER fast. Highly recommended, but can be busy. Best to call ahead to avoid disappointment.
