    PATHETIC PATHETIC PATHETIC We (me, my wife and 2kids) went for a lovely coffee morning outing and decided to have a bite at this horrible place. We parked our both cars exactly outside this place. I settled my family on the table and walked to the counter to place our food order. After placing order I asked the waitress for payment upfront or after finishing the food as we were not sure we want to order more or not. She replied me in clear PUNJABI language that “it’s all OK” to pay later and that too she opened my table and gave me a table number with the display. As she started all her conversation in punjabi language and that too I can speak and understand the same language, I told her I am picking someone from airport and there flight will be landing in 25 minutes. I ll quickly eat and my family will settle the bill and we want to pay cash on which she agreed (I already had the table number by this time). After my food I left and my family was still there and eating. Out of nowhere a waitress approached my family and asked for their ID’s. My daughter asked the reason on which that waitress told my family it is the owner’s choice and decision. We take money upfront. My family told her we never denied to pay upfront. My daughter explained that the waitress told my dad it is ok to pay after. I want a clear clarification from the owner: 1: On what grounds your staff asked ID from my family in front of other diners and that too was loudly? 2: With whose permission and under what authority your staff held my daughter’s license. 3: Later your staff rudely told my family that money first is our policy than who gonna explain this to customer. It is your staff’s responsibility to tell customers. Also if money upfront is your policy than why your waitress opened the table and gave us table number on very first place and served us our food and the bit later our pending order. 4: Why your staff was not wearing name badges? My wife repetitively asked their names and they were avoiding telling their names. 5: Where were your complaints procedures things? 6: My family tried to speak with you (owner) and without knowing anything you blamed my family for harassing your staff where my family was asking one simple question “Why you’re asking our ID’s. There were other customers on the tables and you guys have not asked anyone ID’s and only asked ID from my family that too asked loudly”? Please provide the explanation and keep the copy of the video of that specific time. If you don’t have any explanation and feel your staff messed up please apologise to my family publicly as your staff publicly humiliated them first. It is a common sense, if someone who is dining-in in your restaurant and parked their both vehicles (one work vehicle) outside your door step and having two kids one 2yrs old, you really think that customer will runaway. Please provide proper training to your staff and you learn to be humble and a good listener and ensure that the customers dining in your restaurant are being valued and heard, not humiliated.

    I had to give 1 star as there was no option for 0 , the staff were so so rude , the staff came in between when we were eating asked us to provide id in front of others sitting which is pure harassment and then when we asked them at the counter as if why they asked us to provide the id they said that it is their owners choice, And the other Indian staff started to eye roll and showed such bad attitude towards us and on top of it one of the staff went and top of that called the owner so that he can harass us. The owner was so rude and was not ready to listen. It is for the owner check your cameras and the behaviour of your staff and you have the number call us and I am ready to for further complaint for you. If you are running a business the 1st policy is being humble and a nice customer service but over here it’s 0 plus pathetic food quality. It was rubbish but we had no choice but to have as we ordered. Plus no one is bothered to come and ask if the food is ok but yes you can come and ask for id. Very very rude and harassing behaviour and also denied to provide names that simply shows how insecure they are as they know that what they did is not correct. I wish I could have the video and it could have been shown that how rude behaviour they have. Will never ever come here. One of the name was gagan plus why are not wearing name badges and 1 of the staff said yes the girl who eye rolled has resigned that is why she is doing that and at the end the lady chef when I told her please look at the attitude of her the chef asked the girl to go away which is very much visible in your cameras. Pathetic .

    The space is beautiful and everything looks great. I ordered something from the cabinet and they brought it out beautifully presented but there was a hair in it. I decided to ask for a refund because that’s just a health hazard and the manager was extremely dismissive and rude. When I showed her the hair she looked at me like she was confused about what I was complaining about. Saying things like “that’s a waste of food” and “you shouldn’t have bought it if you weren’t going to eat it.” It took a lot of convincing to get my refund. I should have read the reviews going in because that was such poor service and I’m clearly not the only one who’s experienced a health and safety hazard at this cafe. The smoothies my friend and I ordered though were delicious but we’re certain they mixed up the ingredients which is an allergen risk.

    We visited this place today and i had some decent expectations but sadly it was not worth it. We ordered halluomi with mushrooms and spinach on sourdough toast, the bread was too soggy and oily with no seasoning on mushroom and spinach,although halluomi was well seasoned. The other dish was toastie, we requesydd chicken and cheese instead of ham and it was really disappointing. The only think I enjoyed was coffee and ambience.

    Terrible experience ! Food was not fresh , chicken pancake tasted odd , have felt sick since we ate it at lunch time. Sweet treat was very stale ! Will never go back ! Worst experience ever of Auckland cafe.

    Staff not that friendly any more. Didn’t say anything when they took my coffee to the table. No cheers or whatsoever! They charged me $3.50 extra to leave the bread away and put one hashbrown on (because I am celiac) not sure if I want to go back and just delete my loyalty card. Food is tasty and coffee is good. I think he was the manager that served me. It one of the ladies

    I absolutely love the girls and guys that work here. The coffee is amazing (especially with a flavour shot) and the food is always super fresh. Whether you’re just looking for a quick coffee to go or a good long sit down, this place is perfect.
