There's a lady that sometimes serves us on the bar on Blues night... She is super friendly with a fantastic attitude and I just wanted to say thank you to that girl, your hospitality makes the experience for me so lovely, I've been going here for the last few months and just started bringing my partner along too. I noticed the guy that is usually on the bar was really friendly to my partner, though he's never that friendly with me lol... not really sure why that is. So far, we've ordered a few meals... the buttermilk burger but the bun was burnt and dry, did not enjoy it at all. The mushroom/onion pizza is not great either, mostly just leaves an onion taste in your mouth for the rest of the night. We've also ordered the chicken pizza and the prawn twisters, which were YUM AS and we will definitely be ordering them again. The beer prices are awesome! The Auckland Blues Club is a must-see, $10/person every second Wednesday.
Decent bar. Times have changed not many people go out drinking which makes the experience of such place difficult to properly gauge a rating but average place. Pokies, pool tables outside area in front to drink.
I'm a regular, visit this establishment every other day. Staff are absolutely brilliant and they are one of the main reasons I prefer to visit this establishment. Ecspecially your night security guard. He's an absolute blessing, and he deserves a pay increase.
Best hamburger I can remember having - and j remember a lot of them.
Overall 3.5 but push it to 4 because of the music. Food is what you'd expect from a pub, it's not a restaurant. Very chill and good place to just drink and enjoy.
I hate giving a low rating because the bar itself & the staff are not the issue, the customers are the issue.... Went to have a tap on the pokies, whilst the machines are good & the staff are fantastic, I find it frustrating when the place is packed & there's not a single machine free & a bunch of players are making 1 cent per spin bets with $5.00+ in the machine. The customers are often rude & pushy also.
