“Reading some of the reviews below is so sad to see. I moved to churton park medical when doctor Rachel moved from Johnsonville 10+yrs ago. I’ve seen a few doctors there but Dr Tim is by far the most personable, honest, caring, open to ideas doctor I’ve ever had. I feel SO lucky to have snapped him up as my doctor. I’ve seen other doctors for when Tim has been busy and 9/10 they are spot on for me too. Tim takes great pride in his practice (along with his wife ) I’ve never felt judged, I’ve never felt unheard and I’ve never felt crazy. The nurses are also incredibly kind. I highly recommend churton park medical.”

“John Sloane offered very professional and very friendly service to get my current insoles adjusted. He was able to modify them while I waited instead of spending a lot of money on new insoles. The assessment was very thorough and the insole adjustments made a big difference. Highly recommend John to anyone with foot or posture issues, running, cycling or any other sports.”

“I've been going a long time and my first doctors was, I'm my opinion, really incompetent. My MS went undiagnosed for years because he thought I was making it to get drugs. I WASN'T. Then Dr Werry came along and diagnosed it in a week along with diabetes. He retire and now have Harry who is REALLY great too. He listens and treats holistically and is really easy to talk to”

“I’ve been going to the Terrace Medical Centre for 15 years and Julian has been my doc. With an assortment of mental health issues it’s imperative I have a doctor that I feel comfortable with and reassured that they really listen and understand me, as communication can be difficult for me during episodes. I have multiple chronic pain conditions also, and Julian has been a godsend for me. He really cares and is kind and understanding alongside being thorough, highly professional and patient with me when I ramble through a list of issues. I tell everyone I’m so lucky I have the most awesome doctor. I have also always found the rest of staff to be professional, kind, knowledgeable and helpful, I’ve never had any issues and in particular I’d like to mention Laura from admin. She has been so lovely on some of my more stressful visits and has gone above and beyond to make sure I’m ok before I leave and that I feel comfortable that I understood everything. I absolutely recommend this clinic and I’m grateful for their services and support.”

The reception staff are always super helpful and friendly, as well as the on site nurse. I can't speak for all the practitioners there, but I've only had positive interactions with my own doctor, Dr. Jan Barrett, who is always open to hear my concerns and empathetic to my needs. “Recently had hubby in here. Cardiology ward very friendly and patient with visitors. Were able to take hubby out on ward-leave. Cafe and kiosk available at certain hours. Parking can be a problem, especially during weekdays. Lyn street parking (back of hosp) a good option. Older people might find walk to entrance a bit cumbersome - wheelchair accessible.”

I’m always surprised by how quick, accurate, and thorough her work is. She really listens, explains things clearly, and makes you feel cared for. I also saw Dr. Carl, the women’s health doctor, and had such a great experience. She made me feel completely comfortable, talked me through everything step by step, and turned something I was preparing for the worst into a calm, non-traumatic process. Truly grateful for her care. With the Medical Centre close by, Dr Istvan and his wonderful team were able to stabilize her until an ambulance arrived. Dr Istvan was so kind and caring to us both, just amazing really, and we are eternally grateful for his expertise and kindness. The receptionist was wonderful also in our urgent plea for help. “I have been going to Newtown Medical Centre for over 30 years and all my experiences are positive. In that period I have had many doctors, all who have been great. Nikesh, who I currently see, goes above and beyond his duties and is very comfortable to discuss issues with. I have never had problems with the reception. I have always found them professional.”

“I have had 3 visits recently for what is now seen as a bulging disc but was initially diagnosed as a lumbar area muscular- ligamentous injury. The staff on 2 visits were exceptional. The nursing staff demonstrated care alongside good sound clinical judgement. The medical staff were great, communicative and supportive esp on my first visit. I was in so much pain I could hardly walk. I was still in pain, but it had settled with medication action, I felt supported by the time I left. Even though I'm a nurse they were careful to explain detail to me, all while accepting my input and perceived needs. I highly recommend this service if you're in need urgently but don't sense the need for ED.”
