We had takeaway containers as we couldn’t finish everything. And the service was excellent, the whole team pitched in - it was a busy night. We started with the cocktail shrimp, which came in a generous portion and was absolutely delicious. For the main course, I had the steak, and it was everything I hoped for—tender, juicy, and perfectly cooked, with a rich and savory mushroom sauce. The service was excellent, and despite the restaurant being busy, we only had to wait around 20 minutes for our food. The staff here are always so friendly, with a smile on their faces, making us feel right at home. Plus, there’s plenty of parking out front, which makes everything even more convenient. We had the beef casserole and spicy prawns with some house cocktails and even the chicken sandwich was to die for. Sabina is the most delightful and charismatic woman. What I've ordered so far: Takoyaki - new favourite dish at Coo's, I just had it today and it was so creamy and delicious! Gyoza - absolutely amazing, especially with some soy sauce. Can 100% recommend this as a starter or to have with a drink. Katsu don (Pork) - was amazing, it could do with some extra tonkatsu sauce for the rice but was still very (!) good. Ikageso - delish little calamaries. Nothing more, nothing less. Karaage don - the karaage was nice and juicy. I am not yet sure how it compares to the chicken katsu don but can recommend. Eel don - beautifully presented and I loved it, but I like eel in general, so if you are not big on fish, I would not recommend this. Umeshu - nicely presented and tasty, reminded me of some dried plums I've had back in europe”
