   Great experience! I booked a single beginner class - it was just me and one other girl. The staff were super friendly and we got many useful tips about surfing. We spent 1,5h in the water and if i wouldn't be so tired I'd like to stay there whole day!

   Had a fantastic time today, I was quite worried I wouldn't enjoy the lesson as I'd never been in the ocean before (at all!) but Dean made sure I was comfortable the whole time and ensured I knew what I was doing all while assisting me to catch my first waves. The water was great, relatively shallow so I never felt in danger at any point, and the lesson was fun and informative. I would definitely recommend Mount Surf School for a lesson

   I booked a one-off beginner lesson (group) with Mount Surf School for my two kids (aged 10 and 13). I was genuinely impressed in my interactions with Rowan - I had numerous questions relating to equipment and techniques so that i could help the kids practice following their lesson. He took the time to answer every question I had and nothing felt rushed. His explanations were clear, patient, and genuinely helpful. The two instructors assigned to the group were friendly and knowledgeable. The kids had a great time and said they would definitely be keen to return in the future.

   We took a lesson with Rowan and it was spectacular. He was the most attentive and friendly instructor we've ever had! He was really attentive to our level, gave us a personalized lesson, is very detail-oriented, and explains things very well. He was with us in the water the whole time! We've really improved a lot, and we had a lot of fun too. We highly recommend him and we'll be back!

   I recently completed the Boost Progressor Weekend in Raglan and could not recommend it more. It was focussed, well-structured, personally-tailored surf coaching within a warm and supportive environment. I gained confidence and noticeably improved over the course of the weekend.    I recently had an epic weekend with House of Surf. The whole weekend was really well-structured, with a great balance of theory, practice, and video reviews to help improve my surfing. The instructors were both amazing and fun - they made me feel comfortable and more confident in the water than ever before. Their passion for surfing was infectious! They broke down techniques in a way that was easy to understand, and the video reviews were super helpful to see where I could improve. I was nervous to go on my own, but the vibe was so good and all the girls were super friendly. I'd definitely recommend to anyone book again for myself!

   Just completed a Longboarding course with House of Surf over the weekend and it honestly exceeded all my expectations. Rowan and Roz spent both days with us teaching us in great detail all the foundations of longboarding. With their care, great balance of theory and practice in the water, and their catered adjustments and advice, we all made very visible progress within just 48 hours. I would recommend their services for anyone with different skill levels and goals for surfing. I can't wait to be back in Tauranga to visit again.
