“A while ago I went there for a nosy and found a rack of 'defective' discounted clothes and bought a really nice pair of stretchy, quick-dry, outdoor adventure pants for a fraction of the normal price and there was only a couple of missing stitches in the inseam, (you can't tell). I returned today and found two pairs of 'defective', what look like jeans, but they're water repellant, stretchy and super comfy. So comfy in fact I put my jeans in the bag and wore a pair home. Again, a fraction of retail and, again, I can't see anything wrong with them. I head off back to Oz in a couple of weeks and plan to drop by one last time, just in case there's more bargains to be had, so even though I highly recommend their products can you wait until I've gone home, please, before flooding the place. I will say that for me, a poor person, the normal retail price is out of my league, but the quality is really worth it, if you can afford it.10/10”

“I just wanted to say how great the team at Belle Bird has been! I recently purchased a Lolly's Laundry Dress online not realising they had altered the original dress length. I have so many of the Nee Dress's and was so excited to discover they had my size in stock, that I immediately added it to my cart without even reading the write up explaining the altered length.. so when receiving it I was so disappointed to see how much shorter it is, especially when you're 5'10. However the girls have been absolutely fabulous, I emailed them explaining how I felt and they were beyond understanding, allowing me to return the dress for a refund. Dealing with them has been a breeze, super prompt replies & excellent communication - overall incredible customer service! The board behind the counter with all the dogs that are being helped out by the charity just add to it and it's great knowing that anything spent here is going to such a good charity. “This is one of my favourite stores in Canterbury to find lovely pieces of clothing and beautiful homewares and gifts. They have constantly changing stock and wonderful helpful staff who go the extra mile to help you find those special pieces. They are great at couriering things if I can’t pay a visit but it is fun to drive out to Rangiora and have lunch in a cafe afterwards with a girlfriend when I have time.”
