This is the best Barkers in Auckland, hands down. Jun helped us get a made to measure tuxedo for our wedding and he had so much time, patience and attention to detail. We went back recently to buy another suit and someone different helped us who was just as awesome. Thank you team, you are amazing.
Outstanding service from the salesman on site whose expertise and gentle sales skills were exemplary …. (A 7 year Barkers employee - and it showed). He was outstanding in all aspects. I talked myself into purchases without being “sold” my choices but getting sage advice and options offered to me. 10/10. My ONLY suggestion is that the store was hard to find from Ponsonby Rd (and I’ve lived here for 45 years). The store needs to be more visible and visibly appealing from the street! Google maps saved me. RH
Nothing short of 5 stars at this barkers outlet. The gentleman is well dressed and well informed of styles and trends. I went there to buy a suit for my job interview. They have well priced wool suits with a considerably good quality.

The best thing about this place is Archie’s cafe, would never have stopped in at barkers otherwise.

After researching online, I chose Barkers Ponsonby out of all the choices, as my destination for a pair of casual trousers that I needed this weekend. As I walked in the shop, I found myself saying out loud. "Wow! There's a lot going on here!" Before I even got to trousers I could get a coffee and/or grooming if I wanted. Not every menswear shop offers that! Long story short, Ryan gave me great service and different choices to try. He made sure I felt attended to, all the time I was there, as he dealt with other customers. Ryan is professional (which is a given) and friendly as well (which in not always a given). I was happy with my choice with the fit, cut and feel. I was happy with the whole experience. But the experience went to another level when Ryan offered the membership option and a welcome discount of 20%. Suddenly I felt like more than a customer Barkers had never met before. And any doubts about coming back seemed to gently evaporate. For some reason, when I got home and tried my trousers, I was even happier. There's bit more than a pair of casual trousers going on here. And I appreciate it. Thanks for the introduction Ryan.
