They quickly diagnosed the issue and carried out the repair, but when more faults appeared (as BMWs often do), Andrew and the team went above and beyond to track down the underlying problems. BMWs are known for having tricky, hard-to-trace faults, but Andrew really knows his stuff. He spent a lot of extra time and effort to get to the bottom of it—something most places wouldn’t bother with. Many other shops just start replacing parts without any guarantee it’ll solve the issue, but here they actually took the time to diagnose properly. The pricing was very reasonable, especially considering the time and care they put in. Honest, professional, and genuinely passionate about getting it right—I highly recommend them.”

“We came for a coolant flush after finding it was contaminated and paul gave us a call to say unfortunately it was oil and without a radiator replacement, it would damage the engine. We were heading on a trip the next day and paul and the team made sure it was completed and fixed same day. The cost came under what he initially estimated too which was great. “Took my car in for a WOF and realised that I was also due for a service. They could accommodate a service on the same day. Clear communication about what needed fixing for a pass, and the fixes were promptly done. I had initially wanted to polish my headlights at home (one fix), but they ended up doing it for free, saving me a trip back - great service! Reasonable prices too, $265 for a WOF and service. I am due for tyres later in this year and wouldn't hesitate to return, as their quote seems very reasonable. Thank you AutoKing team!”

“Today, I suddenly heard a weird and very loud noise coming from the front of my car. I panicked and drove straight to BM Workshop without any appointment or notice. Even though it was nearly closing time, they didn’t hesitate — they immediately put my car on the hoist, removed the tyre, found the issue, and fixed it without charging me a cent. I’ve always done all my BMW servicing with them, and I wouldn’t even consider going anywhere else in Christchurch. Truly fabulous guys — highly recommend them to any BMW owner!”
