    “As property managers we rely on good trades people and Josiah and his team are one of our best. Very reliable and easy to deal. They can sort out pretty much anything from replacing a washer or a tap, installing new hot water cylinder to full on bathroom renovation. But Josiah is also very good at sorting out other 'handyman' jobs like replacing door handles, repairing and painting a ceiling or putting up a partition wall. Nothing seems to be too big a job but they are equally as good at attending to the little stuff. We are very happy with Jayfix ongoing services for our business.”

    “A surreal experience! I would not have thought it possible to get a new roof on my bach so quickly. From first contact by phone to paying the final amount was a little over three weeks! From the first contact a quote was organised in about 4 days (and over a weekend). 4 Dec. quote received via email then discussion of details and colour; 5 Dec. advised “coil already on its way from Rotorua”; 6 Dec. deposit paid; a bit of time required for scaffolder but this was in place when I travelled up from Wellington on 14 Dec.; 19 Dec. returned home after job substantially completed day or two before (except barge flashings); 22 Dec. job complete and final payment made. Wow! My thanks to Stratco, the boys who did the installation, and especially Matt who took the time to carefully answer my many questions. Admittedly my bach roof was a relatively simple job, and I was lucky to catch a “window of opportunity”, but I was impressed by how Stratco “turned up the wick” to get it done before Xmas.”

    “This little op shop has had a bit of an overhaul lately and I think it’s looking really good! The store always smells nice, they’ve started changing displays to be a bit more interesting. I particularly like how they are displaying the good records up on the wall where you can see them. There are two staff members in particular who are always very friendly and have great banter. The new manager is lovely also. Prices on clothing, music, books, tchotchkes and electronics are very reasonable. Prices on toys are some media are quite high. Sometimes the store closes before their stated closing hours which can be a bit of a bummer. The biggest benefit of this op shop is that they prevent electronics from becoming landfill! Most local op shops chop the cords of electronics and bin them as they don’t have a system for electronics testing. Keep it up habitat team :)”
