   Fantastic place for a group getaway! We had 20 adults stay a weekend and the great staff made it easy to plan and kick back to have some fun. Kitchen had everything we need and loads of bed to house us. Shoutout to Jeff for the great comms and organisation, and Adam for being so helpful during our stay. We really enjoyed going to see the baby animals and archery. Thank you!!

   Just finished a 3-days/3-nights camp at Lakewood Lodge, and we LOVED it! Despite the cyclonic weather conditions and an unavoidable cancellation of the most anticipated activity (horse-riding), the staff kept us entertained and comfortable throughout our stay. When asked if they'd like to return for a future camp, every one of our kids answered with a resounding YES! So kudos to the team at Lakewood Lodge! And thank you very much.

   Lakewood Lodge is a fantastic place! My kids have been very lucky to go on the Adventure Camp and have also attended some day holiday sessions. There is a great range of outdoor activities such as kayaking, archery, horse riding and more. My boys are 13 and 9 and they both enjoy their time at the lodge. The staff are great with the kids, and they always rave about the food! When I picked them up from the Adventure Camp last school holidays the first thing they said to me was "Can we go back next holidays?!!" Lakewood Lodge is located in a beautiful rural setting and has lots of farm animals as well. It's a great place for kids to get outside, meet new friends and create some awesome memories. I would recommend Lakewood Lodge to anyone with school age children. It can also be booked for private functions, it would be the perfect place for a large family gathering.

   Such a great place - our two boys have attended day sessions at the Lodge and absolutely loved it! There's a wide range of activities to suit all ages, and the staff were friendly, knowledgeable and experienced. We have also attended a large birthday gathering over a long weekend to celebrate with friends. Such an awesome spot to chill out and unwind, plenty of room for everyone to stay, and the use of the kitchen facilities was fantastic. Would definitely recommend - a really awesome location.

   My son attended a two-day camp recently at Lakewood Lodge. He enjoyed all activities and even though he was among the older kids at 14, there was plenty to do and he enjoyed interacting with other kids as well as the great staff. Our children have gone to Lakewood Lodge at various points in their young lives and we've always been happy that they have been in safe hands enjoying the outdoors, whether it be climbing, kayaking, horse-riding and more. We live in the Waikato so we're used to outdoor life, but what's great about this place is it takes a lot of bookings from Auckland and some of these kids have never really spent time in the country or really done cool stuff in the outdoors. Lakewood Lodge and its great staff give these kids that opportunity to do it in a safe, structured, super fun environment. Highly recommend this place for the kids - and if you want a rural-flavoured break, with as many or little activities as you want lined up as a group of adults, they cover that off too. Great spot!
