    Hamilton Farmers' Market

    ★★★★☆ 4.5 (471 Reviews) Top rated Open

“I love going to the farm market on Sundays when I'm free. I always find new things like cheeses, salami, pastries, relish that are worth trying. There are also several fresh vegetable options at a good price. It's also a good place for coffee in the morning. I always leave with a bag full of healthy ingredients to consume during the week. An important tip is to bring cash. If you forget, you can exchange it there, paying a fee. Some sellers accept cards. There is also live music, which makes the atmosphere more pleasant. The market is inside a covered area and there is plenty of grass outside if you want to bring your pet. You can also find organic vegetables, options gluten free, plants, flowers, cheese, eggs...”

“Frankton fresh shop always have everything I am looking for in this store , the customer service level does not bother me so much .I can see the hard work that goes into keeping the shop fully supplied with fresh produce which is usually what I’m after for cooking dinner and fruit for kids. That to me is more important, Love the layout of the shop what I’m after is 98% most of the time right there next to the entrance e.g : eggs ,bread ,milk .etc genius. Keep up the hard work”

“Hillcrest Fresh Supermarket is hands down the best place in Hamilton for fresh fruits and vegetables. Their prices are way better than the big chains, and the quality is always top-notch. I love that I can get all my Indian groceries and international items in one go. Their weekly specials-especially on eggs and bread-are the cheapest I've found. Definitely my go-to for my weekly grocery shop!”

“I recently purchased a used car from a car dealer in Auckland. It was having some scary problems with the brakes. The car dealer did a search and found Arn's to do the repair for me. I'm so glad they did, because I am new to the area and didn't have a local repair person yet, and I have found them now. They are very friendly and helpful and do a really great and professional job. They ended up replacing my master cylinder and the car stops perfectly now. Thank you so much. I highly recommend Arn's!”

“We stayed overnight for a local event. It is in a good location for local eats, easy access to Hamilton city centre. While dated, everything was in order and clean. The couple who run it were friendly and helpful. Our son noted that it is in an excellent location to go to Waterworld, although we didn't go there on this trip.”

    Waingaro Hot Springs Hotel

    ★★★☆☆ 3.3 (763 Reviews) Open

“Absolutely loved our time at the hot spring pool! The staff were incredibly friendly and made us feel right at home. The 80s music playing in the background added a fun and nostalgic touch to the experience. What stood out was the careful water maintenance – minimal chlorine and sulfur smell, making the soaking truly relaxing. The different pool temperatures catered to all our preferences, and the large pool with the little cannon-like side was a hit with our boys. The real stars of the show were the waterslides – the fastest and longest in NZ, and they didn't disappoint! The rush of the "Kamikaze" slide and the excitement of the longest slide were beyond words. You can adjust the speed, if it gets too fast for you. We were trying to get it all from the slides, hence the speed fraction bruises here and there ;) but the bum-sliding challenge worth it (I won!!!) The only hiccup was the ice-cold shower, which felt more like a challenge, especially on a dark winter evening after enjoying the hot pools. But in a way, it added to the adventure! The bonus of having playgrounds, an aviary with peacocks, parrots, and doves, as well as free-range funky chickens, gave the place a unique charm. As a family with three boys, we had over five hours of non-stop fun. If you're looking for a great time, this hot spring pool is a definite winner. We're already planning our next visit!”
