A great little museum with loads of information. During our visit, we had the chance to create our own art and photograph them as portraits. There is also a treasure hunt to spot particular items on a laminated sheet which keeps the young and old entertained. The astronomy photography was also on and that was truly spectacular to view. Bear in mind that it was an extra fee to view but well worth it. We also explored the kids area which was interesting and would also suit children of the younger age group. Overall a great place to visit especially if youβre looking for an indoor activity.

Went for the free exhibitions that shows an extensive collection of Maori artifacts and artworks. The museum has spacious galleries and modern facilities. Staff are helpful and knowledgeable with enquiries.

Really great experience visiting the renewed Exscite with my two-year-old. I love the thought that went into the installations, and the downstairs looks amazing with the upgrade. On a rainy day with kids there's just no better place to go to!

A great fun place to spend time with your children, lots of things to learn. We were enjoying ourself in excite science exhibition, entrance fee is cheap. Apart from all the sciences, thereβs also first Gen wii Mario kart driving for 2 , test your skill here .
