many years here.sad to see the place so specific for maori and pacific islanders, theres almost nothing here for generations of european new zealanders here, everything is designed to appease a culture that has to prove it exists- instead of teaching and supporting the majority of people who need it -they support the minority who dont care about education like we have for centuries. making way for maori and pacific children and leaving ours in the dust. an institution which does not let you speak about these things. ive met professors from here who tell me they have been silenced. take note of their visions for their only maori future.

Hard to beat a sunny day at Otago. The university grounds are honestly stunning — that classic Clocktower building with its stonework looks straight out of a movie, especially with blue skies overhead. Everything feels open and peaceful, with the river running through and students lounging on the grass or grabbing coffee nearby. I wasn’t expecting the campus to be this beautiful — there’s something really calm and grounded about it. You can tell people here love where they study. Even the walk to uni is nice, with the city centre so close by and heaps of old trees lining the streets. Dunedin gets its fair share of moody weather, but when the sun’s out, the whole vibe lifts. Makes you want to sit on the lawn with a book and never leave.

A great and beautiful uni, where our girls get their quality education for their profession.

My stomping grounds for 2 years. Love this place to bits! Pro tip: If you're here for a visit, go to the Quads and the Clock Tower during semester breaks, it won't be crowded. Early morning or late afternoon would be the best time to visit and take pictures.

This is the beautiful University of Otago! One of the best places to come and study in NZ. Located in the amazing city of Dunedin, you will never have a dull moment. There are beautiful beaches, bars, restaurants, and the people are nothing short of awesome! If you not coming to study, then spend an hour just walking around the area! You wont be disappointed :)
