“Had the Original Vegetarian pizza - so yummy and delicious. Crispy base with delicious fresh tasty tomatoes, mushrooms, onions and capsicum. The Spags Chips were moreish. Crispy, crunchy with enough potatoe-niss to satisfy your hot chips cravings. And a nice cold cider. They had a good beer and wine selection on offer too. Service was prompt and polite.”

“Had the loveliest experience at Lorna Jane Riccarton today. I called in feeling a bit insecure, but was answered with so much kindness and encouraged to come in anyway. The two women on shift around 11am were incredible — they spent over an hour helping me find pieces that made me feel confident and cosy for winter. I’ve honestly never experienced customer service like that. I felt supported, never rushed, and genuinely cared for. So thankful — it meant more than you know!”

We had a wonderful experience, and I would like to express my heartfelt thanks to the nurse who administered our vaccines. I’m truly sorry and a little regretful that I didn’t get her name—but she is, by far, the best nurse I’ve ever met. My daughter has always been very afraid of injections, and today she was extremely anxious. But this nurse showed extraordinary patience and used incredibly effective techniques to guide my daughter through the process smoothly. Afterward, my daughter kept telling me, “Mum, I really like that nurse—she’s the best nurse in New Zealand!” I hope that by leaving this 5-star review, I can help pass on the kindness she gave us to others as well. “Needed a couple of random little plumbing bits for work, knew this place would have everything we needed and after a bit of rummaging managed to find exactly what we needed. Saved a couple hundred bucks over buying new. We felt like things were priced pretty fair. Basically what you want to sell things for if you were the seller but still a few bargains in there. Amazing variety of items, you could spend half the day in there! The guy at the counter was friendly, had a nice chat and a laugh when we paid but great how he leaves you to look at things rather than trying be a salesman and bothering you. Love this place, will be back :)”
