“I would like to praise staff member "Whetu". I have been in there several times and Whetu has been so very helpful on a number of occasions. I have had the worst treatment by the liquor store on Lincoln Rd and was hesitant to go into another bottle store. I felt that way until I was blessed with the amazing service Whetu gives. This isn't a once of behavior for her as I have gone in there over a few years and her respect, kindness and help has never changed. It's hard to find such a great and consistent worker. I have been treated with respect by all the staff there and hope their boss realizes what an amazing job they do. Considering there must be customers that require a little more patience and tolerance, yet they remain professional. Thank you Whetu and the staff of Liquorland Hornby. Great prices, service and satisfaction. Very appreciated. She deserves the name Whetu because it literally means "Star".”
