“Our room was really nice and cozy, came with nice amenities like a stovetop, heat pump, microwave, toaster, kettle. Room was really clean, the bathroom was small but nice and the bedroom was cozy. We had a problem with the stovetop, we couldn't seem to get it to work properly but this could've just been our own error instead of the stovetop being broken. Maybe check to see if you can get the stovetop working if you're planning on cooking while you stay, we resorted to the microwave which worked well. Reception staff was really friendly, we would stay here again. Also right across the street from the grocery store which makes things way easier.”

“I've been here for 4 weeks now and on my first week sue was very welcoming she's a very nice lady, I just live day to day normally as if I was in my own home. I enjoy living here for now, definitely better than living in a stinking garage with my 2 kids. thank you sue for having us here while sorting out my accommodation living ☺”

“We stay at the poenamo hotel often. We live in Brisbane and come home often. We stay here because the rooms are comfortable and roomy. The bathroom is good and kitchenette perfect for vogels toast and tomato in the morning. The price is reasonable and location perfect. Easy access to the motorway. Good food close by. This place helps out people in need and it's definitely not a boring time here lol people tend to keep to themselves but also there's a community here too. The owner Brad is very welcoming and this place helps people stay off the streets so definitely recommend for short or long term stays.”

You instantly feel welcomed. The room was clean, modern, and really comfortable the bed was amazing and everything felt fresh and well looked after. It had everything we needed and was a perfect place to relax after a long day. Great location, great vibes, and overall just a really enjoyable stay. “I’ve booked a stay with Ascotia now several times previously and my experience staying with them was always very positive, their rooms are nice and always cleaned immaculately. Considering the price they are an extremely affordable option and my go to if ever I’m needing a hotel room in the CBD. They are conveniently located within a short walking distance to many ammenities. Short walking distance from both Queen street area as well as Kroad area. If anybody is seeking an affordable option for accommodation they would always be my first recommendation! ☺️”

“Sufficient for staying a night or two. Central tobeverything in yhe cbd. Service is okay, desk manned continuously although they don't say much when you are coming and going. Studio room is small bit sufficient. I don't like that you have to step up to go into the small bathroom, will be a trip hazard during the night. Good price and good value though.”
