“Hired for first birthday party! Great space, would be great if it was raining, and plenty of playground equipment for older kids outside if no rain. Lots of tables and chairs for use.”
“The staff are more like my family now. My little one calls them grandma. All teachers are extremely loving. I highly recommend this amazing preschool to everyone. Such a safe place to leave your child all day.”
“4TK, a youth organisation created during the first Climate Strike event held their Climate Strike Hui on PASS' premise which had top quality and well looked after facilities as well as friendly students managing the BTS work. Extremely pleased with them for this highly recommended.”
“I enjoyed getting to know the teachers here and the time my kids spent here learning and developing. They helped my children with their confidence in themselves and social environments which helped a lot. It is a kind, motivating, caring kindergarten which I will always remember and if I ever have anymore kids I will enrol them here. I love the kindy, teachers and parents I got to meet and i will miss them alot!”

“Our son has been going here for almost a year now and he absolutely loves it. The large outdoor play area and lovely flow from the house to the garden is so lovely. The kaiako (teachers) are genuinely caring, experienced, and incredibly attentive to each child’s personality and needs. The learning environment is calm, nurturing, and full of opportunities to explore — both inside and in their beautiful outdoor area. We also love how much the kaiako have a wide variety of different and new activities, both indoor and outdoor, every day! The activities cater to the children’s individual interests (in our son’s case, water play, sand and trucks) while also piquing their interest in new things. The activities also encourage connection with nature and local culture. I really love how they do things to give the kids something to look forward to - snow days, bringing in the local fire truck, puppet shows, marae visits, as well as more practical safety education like what to do in an earthquake and personal safety/body awareness. The kindy has a real community feel — it’s not just a drop-off, it’s a place where families are part of something meaningful. There’s a whanau group and Storypark where we get regular updates and stories, it’s great for keeping the grandparents who are overseas involved in what my son gets up to. It’s also particularly special knowing this kindy has been around for over 100 years! A true treasure in Grey Lynn. Highly recommend to any parent looking for a kind, inclusive, and enriching early learning experience.”
