As a new mom, finding a kindergarten that puts your heart at ease is a blessing. Folkestone Street day care has become a true extension of our family. It's multicultural, nature-oriented, and nothing beats the sight of the children having their afternoon tea under the trees, listening to the birds. Highly recommend!
Folkestone St has been the perfect place for our daughter. We love the fact it is a smaller centre with a real homely feel. A big selling point for us was having their own cot to sleep in, in a proper room. She loves the meals and it’s great to know she has been well fed whilst here. The outdoor area has a great mixture of bush and play area. All the teachers have always been so lovely and accomodating it’s great to see her so happy in the morning and excited to attend.
Our daughter has been so well cared for here. The teachers are warm, genuine, and clearly love what they do. She settles easily each day and always comes home happy, which makes it a lot easier leaving her while we’re at work. The environment feels safe, friendly, and well-run. We’re really grateful to have found this place.
We’ve had a wonderful experience with Fokestone Childcare. I especially love their outdoor space — the natural environment gives children so many opportunities to explore freely. Our son started when he was 16 months old, and at first we were quite worried about how he would adapt. Miranda gave us plenty of time to visit and let him bond with the teachers, which made a huge difference. To our surprise, he settled in very quickly and has been genuinely happy every day. We’re very grateful for the care and support he receives, and we highly recommend Fokestone to any family looking for a warm, nurturing, and nature-rich environment.
Can’t recommend the team enough. They’re always so thoughtful every single day and it feels like they truely love our daughter Isabelle. She comes home so happy and always talks about her teachers. Enrolling her has been such a good change for us and the environment the team at Folkestone have created really suits our daughter, which loves the outdoor space but also sometimes needs a break and enjoys some time to herself.
Being a first time mum, sending my son to daycare was pretty daunting but Vicki and the team at Folkestone have been amazing. They’ve reassured me every step of the way and I know that my little boy gets all the love and care he needs while they go at his pace. I particularly love they way they try and emulate our home rhythm and haven’t tried to enforce any strict schedule. He loves it - I can see his face light up when we arrive. I would and I do recommend Folkestone Street to anyone who asks.
Folkestone Street Infant and Childcare is an amazing setting, Im so glad I was able to get my son a place there. The staff are all lovely and genuinely care about your child. I love how they do lots of outdoor activities but it still has a real homely feel. The enrolment and transition was very easy, the staff really invested time to build a relationship making sure my son felt safe and happy being there and I felt confident leaving him. They really understand the importance attachment and children’s emotional well-being. The staff are always really supportive and understanding of any requests or questions I may have. I can’t fault the place and feel lucky to be able to send my son there, it really is his second home! Thank you for everything.
I can't say enough good things about Folkestone and the team there. Our little one started in February at 6 months and I was pretty nervous leaving her. I was able to spend as much time as we both needed settling her which made such a big difference as she has been happy there from day one, and most of the time is an easier baby at daycare than she is at home! It's obvious that they really love what they do and I know she is so well looked after and loved. Huge thanks to the whole team for taking such good care of Allison, and for making everything so easy and stress free :)
We feel so lucky to have found Folkestone. Our one year old has recently started and we have been blown away by the time and care that Miranda, Vicky and the team offered to integrate us into daycare life. It's a big step handing over your little one, but after spending time at the centre and getting to know the wonderful Kaiako, we know our little girl is in the best hands. The food is nutritious, individual sleep schedules are followed and family are always welcome - Just what our family needed. THANK YOU!!
