We only had to leave when we moved too far away. The staff are incredibly helpful, friendly, and approachable. They took a genuine interest in my children’s passions and nurtured their curiosity and love for learning. My eldest son thrived in his love of writing, my daughter enjoyed assisting the teachers with everyday tasks, and my younger son loved exploring animals. The communication, both in person and online, was always clear and informative, making us feel included and up to date on everything important. “I visited with a friend of mine looking for a daycare close to their work. I loved the natural focus on the centre. Earthy colour scheme in the large classrooms, and a huge outdoor area, even a bush walk for the children to enjoy. Some of the preschool children had just pulled some radishes out of the garden and were proudly showing us what they had grown. The staff and management were friendly and professional, and to my delight, there was even a teacher who taught my son in a neighbouring daycare 6 years ago, whom we thought of highly back when my son was at daycare. There were also two male teachers, which is excellent as they are so hard to find in ECE and super valuable, especially if you have a boy. I would thoroughly recommend this daycare!”

“We have been with Learning Tree Westgate for nearly a year and have been so glad we picked them to look after our 6mth old. They make you feel so welcome, it’s a safe and friendly atmosphere and our son (now a bum shuffling 15mth old) loves his garden and sandpit adventures daily. He also makes the most of the in house chef on site, eating better meals than his parents most days. We’ve been so happy with our choice we’ve successfully suggested the centre to two other families.... and counting. Can not recommend enough!!”

“Absolutely cannot fault the service we received here! I emailed earlier in the week to enquire about the duration of a sale and they responded promptly. We went in today to purchase three car seats in order to fit three across in our vehicle. Jen served us and went absolutely above and beyond. She helped us to pick the right seats, talking us through pros and cons of a few seats, she then helped us to trial the fit for the three and then properly install all of them. All this on a stinking hot day, while being lovely to our two preschoolers. Thank you Jen for your amazing service, and thank you Babies NZ for your range of affordable, high quality carseats that enabled us to solve our three across dilemma without compromising on safety or having to remortgage the house! “Parakai Kindergarten is a place where you child feels safe, seen and gently encouraged to build their confidence. My son had spent the last 3 years there before turning five and moving to school. Even though he’s moving to school, and his teacher is going to be his mum he still wanted to stay at kindy where “he was so happy”. I feel that the teachers deep love and respect for their tamariki is illustrated in my son’s statement as he was so sad to leave his favourite place. Kindy isn’t just a space place for the children but a space for the whole family to be connected to the thriving community and culture that envelopes Parakai Kindergarten. As a mother and a teacher I could not recommend Parakai Kindy enough and only wish I had sent my older son there too.”
