Car service in Auckland

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We can't thank the team at **Lang Automotive and Tyre Centre** enough for their generosity and incredible service! We were in Auckland picking up our 9-year-old from the airport when our car suddenly broke down — both the alternator and radiator were completely shot. With home being over two hours away in Tairua, we were in a real bind and didn’t know what to do. Thankfully, we managed to get the car towed to Lang Automotive, and from the moment we arrived, the team was amazing. They understood our situation and *immediately* got to work, prioritizing our repair without hesitation. The mechanics went above and beyond, working overtime (two hours past closing!) just to make sure we could get safely back on the road that same day. We are forever grateful for your kindness, professionalism, and the extra time you gave us. You truly turned a stressful day into a blessing. Thank you again — we won’t forget it!”

“Always fast and great service and the prices are fair, Clayton always suggests the cheaper options for replacements eg like tires where possible. My garage to go!”

“Ray is a lovely guy to work with. Had my camper van in for some suspected issues. Ray rang me later on saying he couldn't find any faults so there was NO charge! Couldn't believe it, really honest and reliable guy would use again and 100% recommend”

“Always available to book our vehicles in for wof and service. Great, friendly mechanics and keep us up-to-date with any issues that may arise.”

“The team at Grey Lynn Automotive did a fantastic job and went above and beyond to help us out. They were able to fix all the issues with our vehicle for the best price we could find. We also needed our vehicle back at a certain time and they stayed late to make sure it was serviced. I felt confident choosing Grey Lynn automotive and would highly recommend them! Thanks again, we are very grateful for your work.”

“Raj is really helpful, honest and does his best to fix in timely manner. Highly recommend!”

“Many thanks once again Morris for you and your team helping out with repairs done by Kellys in Whangarei.Means a lot to have backup that you have always provided over the years. Thanks again Wayne and Talei”

“Can’t fault these guys. Graham and his team are friendly and efficient and trustworthy. Sums it up really!”

“Highly recommended Place for maintaining or repairing your vehicles. Obviously great for service too. The owner John is very professional and capable of fixing challenging issues. The most important part is that John wouldn't deliberately overstate the issue for you to pay more than necessary. He is a very honest person. That's why I stick with him for my three cars in the past six years. Worth to mention that he has a very professionally customized Wrangler which is perfect for rescuing in difficult road conditions. You won't be disappointed.”

“I needed a sill repaired on an older model car to meet the WOF. Not looking to spend a great deal I chose Evoke Bodyworks as it was open Sat am and recommended by both MoneyHub.co.nz and TopReviews.co.nz. Aaron inspected the vehicle on the spot, explained the repair required and showed me the cost breakdown on his computer. I said I hope it’s the same price whether you’re a bloke or a not-so-careful lady driver. He said it was, and I agree it was a good price. The work was top notch, but it was the after sale service which was above and beyond. Part way through the job Aaron told me there was further damage down the sill, but after I asked if it would pass the WOF regardless he offered to do it without charge as the removal, refit and paint was already covered. Not only that, a few weeks later some lowlife keyed my car. I phoned for the paint code, and Aaron suggested I just pop by and collect the rest of the paint as it was ‘going in the bin anyway’. Will I go back? I’ll never go anywhere else. I usually can’t be bothered doing reviews, but I would recommend Evoke Bodyworks to friends, family and colleagues in a heartbeat. Thanks to Aaron and the team at Evoke Bodyworks for going the extra mile and then some.”

“Thanks team, great service received today! My Honda Crv drives like a dream after the service today, we will see you again!”

“The staff are always so lovely! I’ve been here a few times to get my tyres done and every visit has been excellent. They’re always able to book me in nice and early, and the prices are super affordable.”

“A friend recommended Albany Autofix, so I decided to give them a try. Other shops said the whole part needed replacing, but Albany Autofix fixed only the faulty sensor at a fair price. The shop is small, but don’t judge by the size or looks. The team is very professional and skilled. They explained everything clearly and did honest work. I trust them fully and will send my family and friends there from now on. Great service and great people.”

“Greg and Fiona at GP Auto are the VERY VERY best. Honest, down-to-earth, helpful, genuine and extremely lovely. I cannot rate or recommend them highly enough and am deeply indebted to them for all they have done for me. I have used their battery hire/recharge/test service, had my clutch replaced, an issue with my gearbox worked on and other stuff. Each time, the staff have been friendly, the required work discussed and explained and additional required work brought to my attention. The service standard is beyond reproach and the bill fair and honest.”

“These guys are absolutely amazing! The service is fantastic and the mechanics are lovely. 100% recommend! I broke down and within two days they had me up and running again so I could go home. Thank you so much.”

“Andrew's service is excellent as always. He had the problem with my mower diagnosed immediately, replaced the faulty part, motor fired first turn and I was on my way literally within minutes.”

“I had a great experience with the team at Final Touch and the results speak for themselves. My faded black Lexus got a new life with paint correction and ceramic coating and it looks awesome! Harrison was very accomodating, answered all my questions and made some great recommendations. I was also offered a tidy loan car that made things super simple. The revitalised look makes me feel super good when driving it and I also see it as an investment by protecting the car's paint and resale price. Thank you, team and great job!”

“I needed to know a specific detail about a mirror and within minutes I was told what I needed to know to buy a replacement mirror. Once I'd bought it, he installed it for me right away and charged very little! So I could continue my travels without any delay. Thank you so much for your quick and professional help!”

“A+++ Clear communication from positive and friendly staff. Tidy and well looked after workshop. I expected a much higher bill judging from the set up but was very pleased when it came time to pay. I wouldn't bother trying anywhere else”
