   This is a nice walk with a spiritual connection to the people before us. There is plenty of singage covering the history of the area, better singage for the loop track would make the track more clear. I found it hard to distinguish where to go when I reached the top. It's a beautiful landscape that is worth checking out.

   Lovely scenic walk through a historic Maori Pa site. Great views of Taradale, the Tutaekuri River and the surrounding area and lots of interpretation panels with good information on history and other interesting stuff.

   Absolutely stunning views and great historical information. Absolutely worth a stop. There's a car park off of Springfield Road. Bring water and a hat as there is very little shade. The loop takes about an hour to complete at a leisurely pace.
