   A large, well thought out playground for children of many ages. A highlight was defintiely the music area - with the various interactive instruments. There is a big flying fox, two huge slides with steps easy for children and adults to climb, swings, a smaller toddler play space and a special area dedicated to children and adults with additional needs. The public toilets were very clean and tidy too. There is also a huge park across the little creek that runs through which was very picturesque.

   Great extension to the existing park. Plenty of adventure and creativity equipment to entertain and keep the kids happy for hours. Also a central water feature to help cool down on those hot summers days. Plenty of areas to climb and swing with a junior and senior play area. Also, caters for some children activities for spacially challenged children. This means younger children can play more freely without getting hurt. Come and let the kids explore. New toilets have been added close to the park.

   Sooo good. There's so much to do at that playground for the kids. So many different games and modules, slides, swings, water play... And when you're done with the playground, there's picnic tables, the skatepark and a massive park to bike around with ducks, geese and swans.

   It was a rainy day which is the only reason no one appears in the photos. It's usually quite busy here. There is a tower with two slides. There are places for kids with various types of disadvantages can still enjoy the playground. There is a splash pad. In fact, be careful where you sit. Sometimes cheeky kids can get the water to spray beyond the splash pad radius. There are also plenty of private toilets. It's a great place to have fun. There's even a basketball hoop and a skate park area. It's also a great place for a picnic.

   A fantastic free family destination for all ages! If you visit Napier this is a must see and hands down the best designed Park I've ever seen in New Zealand. There is high quality playground equipment for ALL ages and abilities, a splash pad area, a water play area, flying fox, musical equipment, volleyball Court, basketball court, skate park, a natural creek, dog areas, bbq areas, lots of shade from trees and shade sails, tables and adult seating, and 2 toilet facilities. It has been well planned and maintained and you can entertain the family for hours here, if you bring a picnic you could even make a day of it.

   Anderson Park Playground in Napier is an excellent playground with a large variety of play equipment. Ranging from the mighty slide tower to water play and much more. There is something to entertain kids of all ages. Excellent facilities and plenty of parking. A great place to take the family on a nice day.
