A great nature spot close to town. Good parking (usually). Lots of seating to sit and look at the stunning views.

Loved this place. Beautiful trees in the park. If you climb further you are in native bush. There is even a track with young Kauris. Fabulous view from the top.

This is genuinely such a nice walk. They are adding limestone so it’s an easy safe walk not muddy any more it’s a bit of mish up the hill but it’s only small a small hill and the trees and birds are delightful. I recommend this walk to anyone children adults and (fitter) elderly.

A fabulous place, with tracks in the Bush, and views along the way of Napier and surrounds of the Heretaunga Plains. Lovely native bird song. A good exercise in pleasant surroundings. Peaceful with lovely views of the surroundings.

Used to be stunning views across the ranges from the top. Was some of the best scenery around after snowfall in the mountains. Now houses block the views. Council allowed changes to the district plan so more houses could be built here and have decreased the appeal. Really not much point going to the top anymore, but has a few tracks that are worth the effort. Otatara Pā and Sugar Loaf have better views.

Pretty, birds chirping. Lovely to go for a walk in summer as the grass is green, and the sun is shining. Not so much winter as cold and rainy. Found a hut there with my friends, and we all found big sticks. 10/10 expirence big sticks are cool
