I had the eggs Benny, homemade hollandaise was homemade delicious. Generous serving of salmon. Coffee was hot and strong, yum. Went back for afternoon tea. The lemon muffin had lemon curd in the middle. The best I had.
One of my favourite cafes in Dunedin, great homemade food at a great price and friendly service
Unlike previous times I have visited here, today I found that the food just wasn't up to part. The Panini was a bit doughy and dry, with not a lot of filling, and the Cinnamon Scroll I ordered was the oddest one I've ever had, as it include sultanas/raisins or similar. Was quite disappointed but do hope they improve.
Everything about this cafe is fabulous. Food is tasty with great value for money, and the service is friendly and welcoming. The tea is spot on. Highly recommend.

Good food, good coffee, and good people. Food is especially tasty and not expensive. Anything I try never disappoints. The barista is very friendly and makes really nice coffee. The cafe is small but very popular among locals. We love Cafe Aroma.
Each time i have visited this cafe the staff are friendly, food looks yummy, But coffee ☕️ isn’t that nice it’s always Luke warm. They made it so fast I didn’t have a chance to sit before it was made. I had my coffee to go I left took a sip and was disappointed it was a very milky weak latte and Luke warm. Was really looking forward to a nice hot latte for $6 id recommend going down the street to hunger hub for a great coffee they were closed today sadly but I’d give this cafe 5stars for the service that’s about it
The steak with mushroom sauce was cooked to perfection, it came with home made chips and salad all for $27.50. The flat white coffee was the best I have had in town. I have found my new place to go for brunch.
