The kitchen at Master of India Napier takes a classic fish-and-chips path and lets the food speak. Views add a quiet lift to the visit. Curries are rounded, with sauces that coat without heaviness. Portions make for an easy, filling stop. Fish is cooked to a clean crunch and chips stay tidy.
The food was excellent. Some of the best indian cuisine I have tasted. Staff are very helpful and friendly. Would highly recommend.
Maybe this is Napier's best kept secret, the place was nearly empty where the size and quality should dictate otherwise. Excellent service, cheap drinks and very good food. The entree's were huge and the meals (curries) superb. Honestly I rate this restaurant as the best that I have visited in Hawkes Bay so far (been in HB for twelve years so we've been to quite a few). Highly recommend.
Loved attending their Saturday buffet evening - highly recommend! Amazing value for money. Great selection of food and frequently replenished. The restaurant was almost full and the staff remained very helpful and friendly.
Everything great. Atmosphere, presentation, service and food. Attention to detail was impressive, especially with the presentation of the food. First time here, and our favourite Indian dining in Napier has been relocated!!
Nice! The vindaloo was a tad salty but excellent dining experience overall. Absolutely planning to return someday. The tapestry is lovely, and makes it one of the restaurants with the finest interiors I have seen in New Zealand.
Mind blowing food and presentations. Best Indian food ever. Lovely service at the same time. Paneer tikka wasn’t in there menu. but they made it for us and didn’t regret it at all . chicken choosa was so tender and full of flavour perfect combination of spices.Keep up the great work guys. Highly recommended.

Fantastic meals!! Sooooo yummy!!! Kids options!!! Friendly staff!!! Lovely atmosphere!!! The tap water could do with a filter tho. We have now been several times and have loved every dish served!
Wonderful place to dine in. A 5/5 stars for hospitality and customer service. Hygenic atmosphere with quality food with etnic Indian cusine and options. Located pretty much in the heart of the city so easy to access although, parking vehicles could be challenging during peak hours. But overall, one of the best Indian reataurants I've been to in New Zealand. P.S. Restaurant.: You may want to reconsider using food color in fried items as formulating just the batter and spices right will add to the authenticity. Also, though the tea was just perfect, please sort out a better carry away cup as its not quite leak proof. Thank you for your service! And all the very best!
