   So my mate and I were on our motorcycles and we normally go to the other places along west quay, but they were full so we spotted another place that has a lot of outdoor seating and was not that busy. But we were in for a surprise. Now if you want a place that has good food and a nice view then look no further. The service was amazing and the food was very good and cost was not that bad for where you are.

   Wouldn't recommend for brunch sorry. The "toast" appeared to have been fried and was very oily. The scrambled eggs were OK. My partner's big breakfast was pretty ordinary as well. You don't really expect basic truck-stop type food at a waterfront eatery! The tea was nice though.

   We were going to go to a cafe for lunch but decided to try again the Boat Ramp. It is way more upmarket than it used to be. The service was good. Myself and my wife ordered the Blue Code and Chips. My son ordered the cheeseburger and chips. When our Blue Cod and chips arrived I was shocked. There was a tiny layer of chips. In fact it was so small I counted how many chips was on the plate. 17! For a bit of fun my son counted his chips and got 34. The food was very nice but for $32 I expect more than 17 chips on the plate. Apart from that it was a nice lunch experience.

   We have been under a fair bit of intense pressure over past week and needed a bit of TLC / unwind / and to not having to prepare a meal. The Thursday night "special" was an influence but in hindsight it was irrelevant. Vic and his team delivered, IN SPADES. Fabulous location - we sat outside enjoying a simply stunning view across to the marina and enjoyed a superb sunset. Therapeutic and soul refreshing - just what we were crying out for. The service was faultless - caring people who wanted you to enjoy their hospitality more than they wanted to take your money. The food was lovely, just right. Great choice of wines available. Excellent parking. Our batteries were fully recharged and we will return. Thank you Vic and also to your delightful wife and the rest of the team.
