At Bay View Seafood, the menu stays classic fish-and-chips, served with an easygoing pace. Views add a quiet lift to the visit. Stir-fries keep good heat and snap. Tandoor notes appear clean and steady. Breakfast plates are tidy and satisfying.
Local legends. Just bloody great all around. Fed 9 of us (7 very hungry teens) and everything was fresh, hot and delicious even though they were out the gate busy. Best fish and chips in the Bay. Thanks team. Weβll be back. Probably tomorrow at this rate!!
Omg I'm gluten intolerant and the gluten free fish and chips were so nice. I was travelling with others and we stopped there. I didnt think I would be catered for but I was exited to see they had gluten free. And it didnt disappoint.
Friendly easy going staff. Accomodated my request for portion size adjustment . Enjoyed the fish n chips. Glad I tried a cheesecake... fully recommend it.
Best fish and chips I've had for a long time. Very good batter. Cooked to perfection. Half a scoop was more than enough for 2 big eaters. Very friendly service.
A couple of months back my girlfriend and I did a day trip over to Napier from TaupΕ On the return trip home we found ourselves a bit hungry and thirsty and thought letβs grab a bite on our way out of Napier. Pulled into Bayview. After trying about four locked doors at the local pub and stepping over rubbish and around green slimy leaky guttering we thought letβs just grab fish and chips from the local fish and chip shop instead. Even though the fish and chip shop was actually closed and the lady in there was just cleaning she recognised our hungry disappointment and whilst she couldnβt fire up the fryers she did make us the most delicious Cheese ham and tomato toasted sandwiches. Top marks all round. And just as an aside - the local pub could do with a good curry up. What a dive. In hindsight Iβm grateful it was closed
We had delicious moist crumbed fish and absolutely amazing vege burger with a home made falafel pattie lettuce and coleslaw and more,so fresh crunchy and tasty. You have you try their food and the staff are happy and friendly.
Most amazing Kai I've had in a long time! Fish burger was top tier and Chips were perfectly cooked! Definitely will be recommending this place to everyone! Keep.up the good work team!
On Friday, I was craving hotdog, gurnard and fish n chips. I drove 20mins to get this. Wasn't impressed. Was mostly batted and not much fish. The chips weren't cooked. Cost be almost $20
