This review is for Stewart Dawson Hamilton Store, not the salesperson. I purchased the Tissot (PR100) watch and the next day stopped working probably due to the battery being drained which is okay but the new battery should work for 2 years at least which means they are not maintaining watches properly. According to store policy, they will only give me a store credit and not a refund. Left with no choice and had to wait for 10 working days which ruined my excitement, happiness and craze for my new watch. Careful before investing your hard-earned money. The staff is lovely and polite but bound by stupid store policies which spoil the mood of the customer.

FiancΓ© bought my ring at this store and had a great experience with the manager. Unfortunately that was the end of our good experiences there end. Took my ring in second year in a row to get it cleaned and checked, there was some miscommunication about the signing off of this job (even though it was done), and I acknowledge my part in this. But the sales lady who served us, Zeba, was the worst person I have ever dealt with as a customer. She was extremely rude, condescending, aggressive, obnoxious and on some sort of weird ring power trip. She was hell bent on proving herself right in the situation, even asking her colleague to get her a calendar so she could count out the months of the year. She chose to do this over showing us wedding bands, which we also asked to do when we came in store. During this experience we also had our 14month old daughter with us, even when she grizzled, Zeba showed absolutely no sympathy or even acknowledgement about how we were feeling in this situation. I will never go to this store again or recommend to anyone else.

I brought my watch( which I purchased from this store) to get the battery replaced however instead of getting the battery replaced the watch came back with a scratch on the back of the watch case. The manager said they would contact the factory to see if they can get a new watch case. It took forever to get the response. The staff in the store said some people had to wait for 5 months which I do not accept. This is my worse customer experience ever.

Purchased a men's seiko watch from this establishment. Have taken it in 3 times as it has stopped working. Watch has been sent to Australia twice to be 'charged' and have attempted to tell me that watch is not operational due to being close to magnets. Watch is once again in Australia for who knows what, I've had no correspondence about this $500 watch that makes a great paperweight and as since the warranty runs out in Novemeber, looks like something fishy going on as I did not get an adequate response when I asking about a refund. Beware when purchasing from Stewart Dawsons Te Awa. They seem friendly but have not helped at all with my watch which is now in their possession for a 4th time in a year.

While i waited, the other staff were friendly and helpful, letting me look at other watches they had on display. Very happy with the service, and will definitely be going back there to satisfy my newfound addiction to buying automatic dive watches - they looked to have a great selection. Thanks again guys, really appreciate you helping me out :-)
