   Last week, I had such a pleasant experience buying my 40th birthday present. I was served by lovely Nerine. I had no intention of buying anything that day and only went to check out some rings. There were about 20 rings that I had short listed when browsing online. So I was quite confused to pick the right one. All thanks to Nerine, I ended up buying this stunning ring that night. For which I have already gotten compliments. Nerine had been incredibly helpful, informative, patient and kind. Also, I received an irresistible deal on it. My 8 year old daughter loved her too and to make it even more special we happen to share the same birthday.

   Terrible experience this morning. I went in and noone acknowledged my friend and I, 3 people were on the counter, one was with a customer the other 2 doing stocktake or whatever. More customers entered the store (older ladies) the workers doing stocktake attended to them straight away! 30mins later I decided to just approach someone - I only needed my watch battery changed. I was then disregarded and told to go to "mister minute" because apparently the brand of watch wasn't sold by pascoes, which is untrue. The assistant made me feel like I was telling a pack of lies about my watch being brought from that store 3 years ago. Go to the the base if you're under 30, these guys seem to only help if you're over 40, plus they were way more helpful then these snobby clowns.

   My partner and I went into the shop to resize her expensive watch. The young lady there got it done in under 5 minutes with no charge because she said it was easy to do which was a nice suprise. We always choose Pascoes because we have found other jewellers to be quite intimidating when they stare and dont ask if we need help but are quick to ask others when they enter their empty shop. We love purchasing new jewellery and we spend alot mainly on watches, necklaces, rings and bracelets but if we do not feel welcome we will wipe those shops off our lists of places to purchase from. Reviews can be very paramount to a business so dont judge a book by its cover and also just because people may not look like they have money does not mean that they dont? We work 60+ hours a week so 9 times out of 10 we are in our work clothes thank you for making us feel welcome, your customer service reps are the best..

   Great service and knowledge in Hamilton shop Chartwell. Great staff and great management. New Plymouth however!!!!! absolute rip off!! Nasty little shop trying to deceive and mislead my friends son.
