Great location and good service basic room but nothing wrong with it. Just nice good budget accomodation for the night
Stayed in unit 7 and it had a great sea view. The rooms itself are quite basic, though clean and well serviced. It is nothing flash but very good for the price and good enough for a 2 night stay. We left the 3rd day as we had enough of all Tauranga could offer us and we had to return to Auckland. Would return for an overnight next time. Alan is a great host. Tip: Get a room with a sea view.
Allan is a very lovely host and welcomed me at short notice checking in . The room was clean , tidy and had all the basic amenities I needed , I will definitely be coming back .
I recently stayed at this Motel and was disgusted by the following Hand basin was cracked, curtains and wall above shower covered in mould. Thick layer of dust on floor behind bed, on top of cupboards and light switches. Mould around windows and frames behind curtains in bed room. I believe particularly the mould were bad enough to be a health and safety issue. It certainly wasnβt worth the $145 I paid for the night.
This is the place to come only once. Only good thing about this motel is location and parking availability. Rooms are very cold, not every window could be closed properly. Everything inside is very old and used. Definitely avoid this place during the winter.
Excellent host and location. Had everything I needed for my overnight stay. Clean and tidy. Easy walk to everything.
Everything was wonderful. Just wished there were power plugs closer to the bed as there were on 2 plugs in the deluxe room n.o 7. One for the fridge and one for the jug/heater. Other than that, was clean and tidy.
Yes also. Used. Stay here when was child. With my grand parents. Back 50 plus years ago. Stayed many times. Like it as old fashioned. John and me. Bought up my grand parents. We never thought of them being old. We had the best life. Traveling. NZ wide. Lovely to go back in time. And all memory's come flooding back. Used live here. 2000. And 1985. Faith. B. C.
Great location and services for generously affordable price. Allan went out of his way to ensure my family had the best experiences staying in the motel. Can't say the same about Colleen though, she came across as distant and disinterested, which I found confusing. Still an excellent place to stay overall.
