   Stopped in to try their fish n chips out and feeling very disappointed and questioning what species of fish we were actually served up as it was tasteless , thinly cut and nothing like you would expect to get from your usual fish n chip shop . It wasn't enjoyable and I don't think I could trust 'nice Cook' and go back again unless they assured me they were serving up elephant fish or shark.

   Best value for money that I have found in Christchurch. This outlet has been going for a very long time out in Kendal Avenue, Providing a snogesboard of dishes, Over the 25+ years that we have been going to Nice Cook, we have never once gone home unhappy or dissatisfied . Best Value in the Northwest Christchurch Area - do try them. I will be going back often. This is a takeaway property and I am not aware of any dining in a dining in area.

   Last few times we have been normally getting a tray of mixed food, it hasn’t been all that great. It seems pretty busy but the foods not all that fresh. Sweet n sour pork- when you actually get some meat and not tonnes of vegetables the chunks are hard dry and yuck (like it’s been reheated) Honey chicken , is a bit the same. The sliced pork, is dry and wasn’t all that appetising Rice and noodles- are flavourless and sometimes dry Pretty disappointing as it’s not that cheap Use to be yum not sure what’s happened.

   Very reasonably priced Chinese buffet takeaway only. Other dishes available on order along with fish and chips. Buffet food is good value at $18. Recommended.

   This place does cater for food challenged critics and dietary requirements. Absolutely loved the gluten free chicken fried rice. Large pieces of chicken for a good price. Have been back on several occasions and have not been disappointed.
