One of the best Sichuan restaurants in Christchurch! We tried the Yu Xiang shredded pork, Kung Pao chicken, all of them were very authentic and tasty. The portion sizes were generous, especially considering the price. The staff were also very friendly and responded quickly to our requests. A great spot if you’re craving real Sichuan flavours. Will definitely come back again.
Order two on rice dishes. Mapo tofu was good but had better. Sweet and sour pork had peanut content either in the pork or sauce. Allergy to peanut, my friend got irritated throat. Rang the restaurant, zero concerns of nut allergy. Asked them to taste the food, they refused. I suggested this resturant to him as I had it before. Disapppted.

We have a dinner last night and ordered Chong Qing chicken, braised beef with potatoes and shredded pork with sweet bean sauce. The service was fast. There are lots of people. The restaurant is almost full. We are very satisfied with what we ordered.
Chill, chinese like vibe as soon as you enter. The staff is really friendly, even to foreigners which is rare. The dishes also pack a punch and are of decent portion as well. I recommend though

Authentic old school chinese flavors, prices are not bad either, service and cleanliness can improve, although they are kinda also part of authentic chinese experience.
The pork dish we ordered was extremely salty, like tripled salt. The waitress rejected our request to return the dish. Won't come back.
