   Had family lunch there yesterday, it was very quiet inside which should have been a sign for us but we have eaten before here and enjoyed it. My daughter's chicken tenders were burnt and so dry (they must have run out of the usual kids tenders because they cut up a breast instead). My husband ordered a pulled pork burger, instead he got pork belly meal, which would have been okay if the pumpkin puree was not cold and the pork belly was not overcooked and dry. My gochujang burger (which is already a salty flavour) had even more salt added so it was too salty and inedible, as well as it being overcooked and dry. Lastly our plate of onion rings had so much seasoning salt sprinkled over it that only 2 members at the table could handle that amount of salt. The chef needs to check his oil temperature and cooking times as well as adjust his heavy handed seasoning. The waitress and team were accommodating and apologetic but it wasn't their fault for poorly cooked food which costs more than its worth. Unfortunately not a great experience.

   Relaxed and spacious restaurant, friendly staff, good hearty food. Was a very cold & wet night so the place wasn't busy like it usually is. A popular place with the locals and a great place to meet for casual after work drinks, small or large group gatherings. Highly recommended!

   Overall rating 82/100 A nice quiet pub serving really good fare in a quiet area of Auckland suburbs. I went for the fish and chips, which were cooked nicely, and had a nice balance between being filling and yet not too heavy. Other dishes appeared well portioned, and it appeared that presentation was key at this venue. Additionally, an extensive wine list and great selection of tap beers and ales. Would return!

   we tried this place first time approx 1 month ago. Ever since the first visit, this place became our weekly routine. It's that good. Both dinner and brunch menu is excellent, super friendly service and very kids friendly (my daughter love their kids combo). I'm sure we will continue visit here more. Perhaps the only complaint is we wish there's more mocktail selection for the non-alcoholic drinkers :)
