Just ordered through the phone and finished eating. It was soo soo delicious. The atmosphere, the service and the food, all of them are so amazing. Thanks guys. Will be back again for sure.
we used to go to this place all the time a couple of years ago, and the food was always great. Now every single time we go the wait is at least 45 minutes and the food is absolutely horrible
I used to love this place the Asian couple were so lovely and the food was always cooked to perfection and very well seasoned and what I actually asked for where as these new owners are not serving there justice as our chips where stale/overcooked with no seasoning even tho we asked for extra and taste like old oil , the wontons (if you can call them that) where all battered , half cooked half not and the size of a ping pong ball (deflated) , potato fritters where alright but just tasted like leftover oil and had chocolate dried on them , the chicken burger if u can even call it that , was a thin sliced patty if that! And the cheesburger wasn’t even a real cheeseburger and NO CHOCOLATE in the more bar , how is that possible?. for $45 dollars I would never buy this again please bring back the old owners or do better !

Great food. Even better customer service! Its recently changed ownership so if previous poor reviews put you off, ignore them and go support an awesome local family. Harry and his wife are awesome and the chef they have running the kitchen (from their cafe in Birkdale) does a mint job.
Yum chips and the cheese burger was good too, well cooked, not mushy. Will buy from again!
4 stars because most of it was good, but the steak toasted sandwich I ordered was a real letdown and not eaten. $5.90, and I got 2 pieces of lightly toasted bread with some dried up strips of steak
We got the $35 fish and chips. It came with 4 fish. Due to the 4 fish I expected the chips to be enough for 4 people but it was very small. Enough for two. Otherwise was OK. I feel it's a 3.5 star
The hoki was nice.fell apart when eating it and didn't taste fishy at all.chips were ok and potato fritter oily.i reckon just change the oil more . Was not to bad at all though.will go back for sure
So while recently visiting family back home here in Stanmore Bay I decided to get some dinner. I went down to brightside takeaways. Firstly they told me they had no menus I could take to look at, then when I rang up and ordered kumara chips, this is what $5 got me! Like I get the cost of living has gone up but this is pathetic.
