    Bought a Latest LG 83” TV for 10K plus on 24 Oct .The TV died on 18th Dec. Informed Harvey Norman on 19th Dec They send a service person on Monday who informs the TV is dead and the motherboard needs to be replaced and that they do not have the part. On enquiring with Harvey Norman they inform that LG has ordered the part and this will take time. I had to request for a spare tv so that our holidays are not ruined They provide a crapy small tv which is in its last stage. I have to follow up every time and only then something moves Not very happy with Harvey Norman service . Will think twice before buying from them again.

    We use Harvey Norman at Botany for all our electrical purchases and have done for many years. We find the staff friendly knowledgeable and very obliging. Recently we bought a new iPad and received amazing help from Khurram. We shall always make Harvey Norman Botany our first port of call because we know we get the best of service and on going help from a very polite and obliging team.

    Awkward interaction with slacking, tall staff member, seems to be of Middle Eastern descent with glasses. Date of visit: 06 July 2025 around 3:30PM-4:00PM. At first, he nicely approached us about our needs. Then once we got into discussion about purchase and delivery of a washing machine. He gave us “time” to think about it. Once we’ve decided to go with a particularly product and approached him again, he was just not interested at all. He seemed like he was too lazy to process this order (not sure how hard it is for sales rep to do this to be honest). He was saying “it’s up to you” at least 3 times with a very tired and groggy look on his face. This was just pure laziness, really. I don’t expect highly of Harvey Norman staff to be honest. I know they don’t get paid extra / or have a commission based sales structure like most sales job get when they finish a sale. I understand this can breed laziness, but at least do your job to the bare minimum and complete the sale. I decided not to go through with the purchase and went elsewhere with better customer service.

    Happy with my fridge purchase but the delivery service is absolutely terrible. I paid $89 for delivery and they brought the fridge up the stairs and then just left, said I had to pay another $60 if I wanted them to unpack it and take the packaging away. This is the first time I’ve ever encountered this in all the things I’ve had delivered the guys have always unpacked it and put it in place for me. I had 3 kids under 4yrs and was on my own with a huge fridge which they didn’t even put into the kitchen. I had to unpack the whole box and drag it over the carpet to get it to the kitchen. Those guys could have done it in 2 mins for me. Appalling!!

Spoke to Karen who was excellent, she took the time to show me various models and their specs and asked relevant questions about my flooring to ensure I bought the best suited model. She went above and beyond to provide a good customer experience - even helping me get it into the car.
