   We had an amazing time at the cafe. The manager was very helpful with my questions and very accommodating with our requests. The friendly Manager recommended the Chef's Salmon Pasta. And it was absolutely delicious!! The menu looks amazing with loads of unique take on our regular dishes we find in the local cafes. They also had really nice pantry food. And the dessert looked amazing! Highly recommended!

   I have been coming to Melba at Hillsborough for some years. The coffee is. Always consistently great, and my friend says the matcha is also up there. Staff are amazing too, the fact that they stay long term, is an indication that they love the place and like working there. If you get served by Kelly, she has a memory like Einstein, order once and she knows how you like your coffee.

   I brought my family there and can't wait to return. The place is clean and the food is amazing. The kids' menu is delightful too. I am definitely coming back—100%! The atmosphere is wonderful, the staff is fantastic and there's a wide variety of both menu items and cabinet foods, all in generous portions. Overall, it was a truly great experience.

   Have been to Melba on many occasions and have enjoyed their great coffee and good food. The last time I went, I ordered their seafood chowder which I have eaten at many cafes and restaurants. I really enjoy this soup but, unfortunately, Melba's doesn't resemble any that I have ever had and really shouldn't be called that. It seems to be curried which masks any seafood flavour and is too thick and creamy, it should be thick but this was too much. If it had been called curried soup it would have been accurate. It's the first time I've ever left a meal uneaten. If you are a fan of seafood chowder, don't order it here.

   I saw this place already sooner and I wanted to visit it. The atmosphere inside is very lovely, nice and relaxing. Staff is nice and coffee is good. I ordered scone and I wasn't 100% satisfied. It was fine but not great for me. It was a bit dry and I don't like the taste. It don't have to be problem of the scone just my preference. Lol.

   We had one croquette Benedict(porkbelly), a breakfast burger and two angus beef burgers. Breakfast burger was the best out of them for me. Coffee was amazing as well but it took awhile for the food. Oh! The strawberry smoothie was quite plain.
