   Went there for the first time a couple of weeks ago. Food was nice we had pizza and fries. Lots of topping and thin crispy base on the pizza. Chips were good. Bar guy was new. Very nice, helpful & polite. One bar person was not enough as a sports game was on. We felt quite sorry for the bartender. I would go back as overall nice evening.

   The Clyde has been our local for many years but sadly the customer service is terrible since it changed hands. We sat in the restaurant area out the back. When we arrived there were no other guests but the staff sat writing up a menu or specials board the entire time we were sitting in the corner and we felt very uncomfortable and unwelcome. Why not sit around the back where no one was to do those tasks? Very unprofessional and seems there is no understanding of what makes a customer return. The service staff need to be trained properly. The place was pretty much desserted bar a few customers when we left. No sign of the new owner. The bar next door was packed so we went there after finishing our meal. We definitely won't be back.

   We were regulars at this establishment for the past few years & loved it. However, since changing hands, it has gone downhill fast. They have had no red wine for weeks, (what restaurant doesn't have any red wine), and they still don't have red wine. The staff have been told not open the covered outdoor beach side section unless it's really busy. This was a regular place for our dog walking friends & also our family gathering place. Well The Clyde won't be anymore, I feel sorry for the staff as all these decisions are coming from the new owner. We have given it a few chances but not anymore.

   Such a nice vibe. We were looking for some place where we could get good food, have nice music in the background and still able to have a proper conversation with not too much noise. Food was really good. Manager and staff made us feel really welcome. Menu had a recent overall as far as I understand. My scotch fillet with mushroom sauce and my husband’s pork belly with gravy was delicious. We ordered a side of cheesy bacon wedges which was delicious. Food was so good, we couldn’t finish it all because it was too much. This was our first visit to The Clyde since we moved here 5 years ago and will definitely not be the last. I can see how we will come back and bring our friends. Definitely recommended!

   Stopped in for a bite , first time there and we were welcomed as if we were regulars for years , just an awesome vibe all round . Food was real good , steak was perfect m/r , beer cold . Venue was clean and neat 10/10 guys , keep it up Complements were sent to the chef on the steak .
