A very small grassland to see the sunset which is nice. not recommend in Spring as the ocean is far from the shore so that the shore looks barren
It would refresh your mind.. I was so excited when I saw the place..
It is a very pleasant quiet spot. The view is great, you can see Meola Reef and Point Chevalier from a different angle. Not sure it is the best place for a picnic, there's no playground for the children, but it's an excellent place to pause while doing the Westmere walkway loop.
Love this place for a bit of 'time out' away from all the traffic and the fast pace!
Beautiful quiet place on the Waitemata harbour, perfect at high tide, in background you can just make out Chelsea Sugar works on the Birkenhead side of the North Shore and added bonus of black swans in the foreground.
Nice for a short walk if you live nearby.
