Went to New Lynn today to get a new phone for my dad. I’d like to thank Sahiba for her excellent assistance during our purchase. She was very helpful and made sure we found a new phone at an affordable price. Great customer service!
I bought my Samsung S25 Ultra from Noel Leeming and got great service from both "Sahiba" and "Chirag". Chirag was helpful during the process, but Sahiba went above and beyond. This was my second phone purchase with her and she explained everything clearly, patiently, and without any pressure. Even after the sale, when I returned with a query, she still took the time to help properly. That level of after-sales support is rare. Highly recommend dealing with Sahiba, and appreciate Chirag’s help as well.
DONT RECOMMEND AT ALL I've had not one, but two terrible experiences at the Noel Leeming store in New Lynn. The first issue arose when I bought JBL AirPods with their product protection policy. Despite their promise of prompt assistance, I was met with a barrage of excuses and told that resolving the issue could take up to 15 days. It's clear that their policy is more of a hassle than a help.
Literally the worst Noel Leemings store I have ever experienced. They wouldn't return a faulty product that was giving us issues. Within the 1-year warranty period. Violating protected rights under the consumers Guarantee Act. Alternate Noel Leemings instantly refunded with no issues. Why as a franchise should there be such discrepancies between stores? Managers at New Lynn are appalling and have 0 customer satisfaction skills. Would rate 0 stars if possible.
Warning to Other Customers: I visited today to make a purchase, and the representative who assisted me was pleasant and knowledgeable. However, when it came time to process the payment, I was handed off to another staff member. I had intended to use my GEM Visa, as they were advertising 30 months interest-free. But when I asked to confirm that I would receive that option, I was told that only 6 months interest-free was available. This was completely contrary to what they had advertised. When I raised my concern, the staff member scoffed and then went to tell her manager, “she wants 30 months interest-free.” To make matters worse, she and another staff member began speaking in another language and staring at me, clearly discussing the situation. This felt incredibly rude and unprofessional. A word of advice to other customers: Always double-check the terms of any advertised offers. It seems like they won’t activate them unless you specifically ask—and even then, you might not get the service you expect.
Try reaching out regarding claim, this store not responding any of the claim stuff and also phone call. Worst management with this store. Even customer team try reach out to Manager of new lynn branch but manager also not responding to me and them. It’s been almost a month now and very disappointed and planning not to do business with noel leeming again due to this service.
A bad shopping experience. I bought a mobile phone screen protector for $79 at this store, and after using it normally for just a week, it became heavily worn with numerous scratches. When I tried to return it, the salesperson said I cannot use wear and tear as a reason for returning it. Come on, I only used it for a week and this item was specifically designed to be resistant to wear and tear. Previously, I bought another $30 screen protector that didn't show any signs of scratching even after prolonged use. I thought that buying a more expensive one for $79 would be better but it turned out to be a scam. Anyway, they won't accept returns so they won't make any improvements for that product either. The screen protector I bought is Zagg InvisibleShield Glass Screen Protector XTR Apple iPhone 14 Pro Max($79.95). That was the most expensive one I could find at the store and it is not fit for purpose.
Quite frankly I’m just disappointed. Can never get through to anyone over the phone. Apparently none of the staff is ever available to speak to you no matter what hour of the day you call them. You end up being transferred to the customer service department who try to contact the store and are always unable to. At one point I was welcomed to someone having their afternoon siesta (literally heard em snore!). Seems like the store people are eager to make a sale but the follow up service is pathetic.
Jaimesh was quick and no dramas when sorting a small problem I had at this store. I'm very happy with the resolution presented and action taken by him, so these 5 stars are totally his.
Disinterested Indian lady initially served me with reluctance when the people she was helping with a more expensive item said it was okay for her to help me, but she passed me on to Ian at the counter, and he was much more pleasant and helped me. PSA members, you get a good discount here, so don't forget to show your membership card!
