The groomers here are amazing! They’re super patient and kind with new dogs and do a great groom. They remember the dog’s names which is really sweet and helped my dog feel more comfortable.
They have got such a big selection, I am an almost exclusive customer of theirs, they have got almost everything, and if they don't have something they are always happy to talk about getting it in truly ASAP. The store is great. They are great, I have been a regular "pet.co.nz" customer since 2018, and they were great, but since they have merged with Petstock the service has been even better, from replacing faulty items right away, to amazingly fast shipping! I was blown away my last purchase, I live in a rural area, and usually would get my order 3 days later at best, which is understandable, but this time I ordered my large breed puppy's special food like usual, in the afternoon, and the next early morning it was here!! Truly amazing!
No surprise most reviews of Petstock Henderson mention poor staff and service. My experience was the same. I arrived 10 minutes before closing today at the 29 Sep, but the staff member at the counter lacked basic customer service skills. She couldn’t figure out how to process a simple refund, their EFTPOS machine wasn’t working, and instead of helping, she blamed me for coming “last minute.” A straightforward refund should only take a couple of minutes, yet she was clearly more focused on rushing home than assisting a customer. Her attitude and unhelpful behaviour made the experience extremely disappointing.
Great place to go and get all things cats and dogs, the do it yourself engraving machine for ID tags is great too. Cheaper than other places too
Twice had my dog's nails clipped here, twice they've botched it and cut him down to the quick and made him bleed. Very young staff, obviously inadequate training and inexperience. I would strongly recommend you go elsewhere for nail clipping as it's amateur hour at Petstock Henderson.
Super friendly and helpful staff, decent range of stock for both our dogs and rabbits. Will be coming back again.
Friendly staff.. They always have stock of my dogs favorite treats and food.
1/6 - Great service from staff, greeted with a smile as i walked in, collected my order and was out in less than 5mins. Many variety of pet accessories, food, clothing etc....is abit on the expensive side but our fur babies deserve to be spoilt. 2/6 - Edit - had to return items as we got the wrong size, i was told i had to bring the "tags" that were on the items before they could exchange them, i had my invoice for the returns but the lady kepy mentioning without tags she wont know the products, i then showed her the product names i had in my email receipt and only then she proceeded to find my order on the system!!! Whats more important? The tags? Or the receipt? Get out of here!!! Changed my 4 star review to a 2!!
