   purchased a Tissot watch as a gift. the next day, I had to call back as it need puncture but they need to send it off. this is the only watch shop that doesn't do a simple puncture. Their options are: they can send it off to their service partner, get it done and pay extra for it or find the nearest watch services nearby yourself lol. this is kinda inconvenient for a watch shop to think they are selling big brands as well. Tsk

   Three weeks ago we went into the Albany branch to try and replace a stolen aquamarine and diamond pendant given to our daughter for her 21st three years ago. The store was very busy but Laurence and her team were incredibly patient as we tried to describe the original. They checked to see if anything was available online and then promised to let us know if anything like it came into stock. Little did we know that Laurence would contact every single branch and track down the original which we picked up yesterday. She could have tried to push us in another direction or not bothered, but she could see how important it was to us. When we picked up the pendant the team were all so genuinely happy for us. Rachel and Gracell gave me some great advice on how to clean some inherited jewellery and Rachel also went above and beyond by sharing her thoughts on the time to pass on jewellery to my daughters. In essence they just all really cared. When I was a little girl 50 years ago, Stewart Dawsons in Wellington was a store that I only ever dreamed of being able to go into, but after this experience and several others Stewart Dawsons Albany will always be the first choice for our family. Choosing a piece of jewellery is such a special moment and knowing that you are more than just a sale to the Albany team is everything.

   My partner and I went in last weekend to look at watches to symbolise our engagement. We were met with the nicest sales person who I think her name was Lisa, she was super helpful and friendly. Her approach to customer services was 5 stars easy. The reason I am giving 4 stars is because at the time of finalizing our purchases the manager was being rude to Lisa right in front of us, I get that they were busy at the time and our sale was of a decent size but there is no excuse for the manager to talk to her worker like that right in front of customers.

   A very respectable store with excellent service and supportive staff, purchased one of my recent watches there, a Tissot Tradition Open Heart, and went again to see if there would be a case for my other watches just yesterday, though fittings were a problem and so on, the staff were very helpful and especially thank you Helena (so sorry if that's the wrong spelling) for everything!

   I had great service with Laurence. She is just gorgeous! My husband bought me pearls as I had lost mine, then found them and she kindly allowed me to exchange for something else of value. However my mother is gravely ill and Laurence could see I was stressed and she took her time including telling me she was happy to give me a gift card to do this another time. Long story short I ended up spending a further $500 in store on top of my exchange. I'd totally recommend the service of Laurence and the quality of Stewart Dawsons jewellery.

   Service was okay until I asked if they had gift wrapping. The shop attendant said that they did, but would prefer if I went to the $2 shop. I was a bit surprised as there weren't particularly busy.
