We spent the next three weeks of our trip looking for another place with as good food and friendliness and couldn’t find it, so we just had to come back on our way driving to Auckland. “Food was fantastic, best meal I have had in NZ. Lamb was cooked to perfection, paired with roasted root vegetables that had a wonderful, natural glaze. Roasted potatoes lightly browned, creamy on the inside. The pork belly was also very nicely done, the mash hearty and flavorful. Cabbage provided a nice counter-point. Highly recommended.”
