We spent the next three weeks of our trip looking for another place with as good food and friendliness and couldn’t find it, so we just had to come back on our way driving to Auckland. “this place is great. Their $7 chicken on rice bowl (any chicken btw, pretty good) probably makes it the cheapest place to get good quality food in Kapiti. I have tried all of their chicken and I have to say the chili and the teriyaki chicken are the best. I don't have any complaints, 100% recommend.”
