“I stayed here on a school trip for a few days, and I LOVED the venue. The owner was really really nice, and it's super close to so many places like supermarkets and places to shop. The rooms were not what I expected at all for this price - they looked like a full-on house! 3 bedrooms, bathroom, kitchen area, living room, 2 tv's, huge wardrobe, 2 floors... it was great! The train station bur right behind my room, and they never woke me up. Weren't as loud as some people say. But if they are, earplugs can be bought from pretty much any shop, right?”

“​I had a fantastic stay at 88 Wallace Court Motel. The room was immaculately clean, and the toilets were spotless – a huge plus! All the facilities were good and fully up to the mark, making for a very comfortable and hassle-free visit. Highly recommend this motel for anyone staying in the area.”

“I get the impression that most people stay here for a night or couple of nights because of it's close proximity to the airport. We stayed for 12 nights, and it was ideal for our needs. The staff were friendly and helpful, we received complimentary drinks on arrival, a very nice touch. The rooms are dated, but clean. I personally would have preferred a smaller bathroom and then a wardrobe, but as I said previously, most people probably only book for a short stay and don't need a wardrobe. What this place lacks in style it more than makes up for in location, we had a beautiful view of the sea and went to sleep at night with the waves crashing on the beach, and in spite of it being close to the airport, the aircraft noise didn't really bother us, but maybe that's because we spent 25 years living close to a major airport. If you are looking for reasonably priced accommodation with no frills, I would highly recommend.”

“More than compensating for their delapidated and about-to-be-replaced building, the staff at this Countdown supermarket are invariably friendly and helpful. Prices are competitive and the range of goods and stock levels generally very good. Features a superb bakery, with a variety of mouth-watering treats always on offer!”

“This was a lovely place to stay even though it is quite old. Bed was beautiful and staff were lovely. We didn't eat there but the location is good for other restaurants and places of interest. Would definitely stay again.”

“Booked a twin room for my sister and myself while we stayed in Wellington to see a concert. Was so handy being right in Central Wellington, only minutes walk from everything. The pillows and beds were the most comfortable I've had in any hotel or motel I've been in.”

“Karen has been our family pharmacist for decades and has consistently been excellent, but recently managed to out-do even her stellar baseline. Whilst arranging for an elderly family member to transition into residential care we had some issues getting the correct scripting sorted. Karen went out of her way to make sure that we had the correct medications arranged on short notice, despite several frustrating complications getting the correct scripts from the medical centre. She made a complicated and stressful situation much better. She is excellent at having and advising about the right over the counter medications as well as sourcing anything she doesn't have in stock. I have consistently been impressed with how quickly she can source non-standard medications and supplements. Her staff are also friendly and knowledgeable, and if you have left getting a gift too late there are always great options here too. Overall, if there was a way to give more than 5 stars, I would as I cannot recommend this pharmacy highly enough.”
