Children's entertainment center in Porirua

“26/1/22: Showed up for my booster appt approx 15mins early to see two queues as I approached but was happy to see there were marshalling staff etc. There was a separate queue for mums/dads & kids (forms to be completed) and the other queue for adults. There were many updates from the staff on waiting times. There were seats available at required distances and I noticed that both queues moved along fairly quickly. I was in the queue only for approx 12mins before being ushered in to provide my name, etc. After a small wait, I was ushered further in, confirmed my details. A quick chat with the nurse, got my booster shot and headed off to the waiting area (15mins) before being allowed to leave. I had my first two vaccination jabs at this same place so I had no qualms about returning for my booster. All staff were friendly & professional.”

“Just want to say thank you so much to the young girl on security this afternoon around 5pm. She was super helpful, i had my baby as well as a full trolley and some chairs and other items to carry to my ute. She willingly helped me without having to be asked and did it all with a smile on her face. Big ups to her, 10/10 customer service.”

“Barnardos Porirua is a beautiful centre. They have a welcoming atmosphere where staff genuinely care for the children striving to assist them in acquiring new skills, nurturing, encouraging and supportive of their learning; providing nutritious meals daily. My Daughter has been at Barnardos a few months and loves it. I highly recommend this centre to others.”

“We arrived on time but due to having to try on wetsuits we hit the counter a little after close. The ladies were super kind. The gent even went out the back to check for my size and thickness. The price was amazing. Well with the shopping experience.”

“The Main hall is huge! Plenty of tables and chairs. Excellent oven. Fridge was a good size to store food and drinks. Great bar area to set up kitchen stuff and prep food. You need to bring your own utensils,kitchen stuff and dish washing needs. There's no dish washer so it's best to use paper plates and cups as well as serving bowls that you can just chuck out. Thank god the Rubbish bags and bin were supplied. If you have 100 guests or under? It's best to hire the adjoining hall as the main hall is really huge. The Caretaker David was awesome to deal with,real good sort. You have to meet him at the hall to open as they don't give you keys,which is great..one less thing to worry about. Just make sure you have a sign saying private function on the entrance doors because it's on the main road and people walk in thinking there's housie or come to use the toilets lol but overall experience was excellent. Shops across the road and Chinese takeaway incase you need extras. Over all experience..Excellent!”

“Millar and Mary absolutely stand out women. I felt I was quite demanding as we arrived, and we had a few issues while there. Nothing but accommodating. I also noted an issue with our lane company, which was promptly fixed. My husband and I hadn't been on a date in a long time. This place made me want to go again. The staff should be highly recommended on their performance. Incredible! We'll be back when the beers are allowed to flow again!”

“Granddaughter absolutely loved it. All the staff are friendly. Great choice of food, however you can't take your own food in. The ride are free and the kids can go as often as they want when they are running.”

“Whitireia Child Care is an awesome centre, the children are free to be themselves. The kaimahi are always communicating with us via Storypark which has instant notification. My girl loves it and so do we as a whānau.”

“My daughter is absolutely thriving at Grow and Learn ELC. We shifted from a bigger centre due to things I could no longer ignore. I was hesitant about enrolling her somewhere else but they were all so welcoming and I loved the vibe in the atmosphere. Kaiako, staff and the Owners are so supportive and loving, they really cherish the tamariki they care for and it shows in their learning environments. There’s such a strong sense of whanau and community and this is what I had been looking for, for my girl I knew this was the environment she needed. You would never know my daughter has only been here a few months she fits right in and has made so many awesome friendships with other tamariki and close relationships with her kaiako. I’m just so thankful I decided to move her here, I can see how much happier she is and how much she’s progressed within herself and her learning and development.”

“Awesome daycare facility!.. My boys have been going here both since they were 1 years old. Teachers and admin are extremely caring and have become like family! Always understanding and working around my schedule with work, no hesitation to my requests. My boys love going to daycare every morning. I can go worry free and know that my boys are well cared for! Highly recommended.”

“Excellent place for kids to start their journey in education. Great staff and an outstanding manager. If you like order, tidiness and warm attention, this is the place for your kids. Sadly, my son stopped attending because he turned 3 and had to find another place for himself. Probably I'm wishing they get the permit to work with older kids in the future.”
