I ended up having a fantastic time and enjoyed the overall experience so much more than I expected. Our driver, Saskia, was delightful and chatty providing us with interesting background on the country as we drove the few hours to and from Hobbiton. Our Hobbiton tour itself was absolutely delightful and the meat pies at the Green Dragon are a must try!”

“We went out on a public charter with Deepstar on the 17/02/24. From start to finish the Skipper Garth and the Deckhand Andy were absolutely awesome. There is no denying this isn't the most modern boat option but these two know what they're doing. Through no fault of their own (the fishing simply isn't too great yet this year!) there wasn't a heap of fish but everyone on our charter went home with something and everyone in my group personally also learnt a lot. Garth made sure not to stay in one spot for too long if the fish weren't biting and whilst some might get frustrated at this, we all much preferred this approach to sitting in one spot for hours catching nothing. The boys were incredibly helpful and knew how to have a laugh too which we really appreciated. We are already looking to book again. Thank you Garth and Andy!”
