βDo not stop here if you want fancy, price reflects this. Do stop here if you want a fantastic historic building, quirky and full of character! Plenty of parking out front or beside the hotel. Free WiFi which works! Clean rooms, heaters, ample space in the rooms. Personally I loved the old tiled bathroom, reminds me of schools in the 80/90s or from the shining..... you decide. Looks like it's recently been carpeted throughout. Currently lots of renovation ongoing, hopefully restoring it's beauty. Shops all around for evening meals, breakfasts, even a laundrette next door. Kettle and fridge in the room, even with hot choc sachets! There is a shared kitchen on the landing if you chose to cook. We had the studio/family room. Double bed and two singles, seating area and TV. For a budget stop, highly recommended!β
