“I was a bit worried about moving my sensitive 1-year-old to a new daycare after she didn't settle at the last one. But Lollipops Birkenhead has been amazing for both of us! The staff are super understanding and gentle, which has really helped her feel safe and happy there. The teachers are so patient and take the time to calm her down when she's feeling overwhelmed. Plus, she gets to do all sorts of fun and educational activities, even at her young age. I love the regular photo updates, too! I'm really grateful for the caring environment at Lollipops Birkenhead. It’s so sad to have our son’s Kindercare journey come to an end, but we can see the values, self-confidence and self-worth you have all helped to develop and strengthen in him as he navigates making new friends, tackling new challenges and making the big transition to school. We’re so very proud of our big man heading off to school and everything he has achieved socially, emotionally, physically and academically at Kindercare. Not only do they have fun and play and learn but their lives are also enriched with outside of the square thinking thanks to the teachers, what a fantastic idea 'Outdoor Explorer's' is, each week the kids get to go and explore the estuary and surrounding reserves to learn about their environment, wildlife, pollution and caring for their world. “We were glad that we placed our son in Little Wonders' care. The environment is friendly, professional and educational. The teachers and staff are so caring, loving, genuine, down to earth, and trust worthy. Children play outside in the nice big backyard with lots of things to play on. There's just a wide variety of play and learn going on. My son loved Little Wonders, too bad we had to move to Auckland. I highly recommend Little Wonders to anyone needing childcare for their children. Thank you so much to Kuku and Paua room teachers especially to his key teachers, Chrishanti and Juliet. Great scripts, lighting and sound, but above all, it's the locals who pour their heart and soul into it. They enjoy themselves and so do we. “Fantastic centre, the teachers are invested in our child's educational and emotional wellbeing. Our daughter loves to attend here and the team were supportive and gentle during her transition to preschool. Our 2 yr old currently attends Lyttleton St and this is a great environment for her because the centre only allows up to 3.5yr olds. So my child is with children her own age rather than being in a space with up to 5yr olds.”
