   Big thanks to Pak kindy - super accommodating and provides the best care! I can go to work with my mind as ease knowing they look after my child with special needs really well! Update: My inlaw's family from America was here for a few months last year sent their youngest boy there. My sister inlaw told me a kindy equivalent to this one in their US neighborhood would cost thousands of (US) dollars/month and have a 18 months wait list.

   Pakuranga Baptist Kindy is a beautiful boutique kindergarten set in a unique little garden landscape, where the children play and learn about growing and caring for our natural world. The natural environment and our role in it, is one of the key focus areas of their teaching. Their success in this area is made evident in the Enviro Schools awards they have won. My child was attending daycare and was struggling; I thought a kindy setting might work better, as there is more structure to the day, and the teachers are more specialised than daycare staff. I heard about Pakuranga Baptist Kindy through a friend who is a specialist RTLB school teacher; she undertook some research at the kindy and was blown away by the standard of teaching and the fantastic learning they inspired in the children. It was the best decision I have made; my older child is now at school and had a great transition to school thanks to the experience and learning at the kindy. My younger child now attends Pakuranga Baptist kindy, and loves it. The kindergarten now offers longer hours, so you benefit from both worlds here, knowing your children are beginning a fantastic learning journey in the best possible environment and the flexibility of extended hours beyond the usual kindergarten hours. The kindy is underpinned by values that are influenced by all faiths. It fosters a wonderfully inclusive community of parents and children, whether you are Christian or not, with kindness and curiosity at its heart.

   My boys have a home away from home at Pakuranga Baptist Kindergarten. Not only do they have fun and play and learn but their lives are also enriched with outside of the square thinking thanks to the teachers, what a fantastic idea 'Outdoor Explorer's' is, each week the kids get to go and explore the estuary and surrounding reserves to learn about their environment, wildlife, pollution and caring for their world. No wonder they have received such an impressive ERO review.
